Rev. Carol Drake Wheatley established Power In The Workplace Ministries in 1994 as an outreach to America's workplaces. Their goal is to impart refreshing and encouragement to the "dry places" by bringing God's word to employees.

            Power In The Workplace sponsors several outreach events: Brevard Prayer Team which is a group of business leaders, church leaders, professionals, and political leaders who gather monthly to pray for Brevard County's businesses, leaders, and citizens; Chaplains of Brevard which is an informal monthly gathering for Chaplains from across all denominations and affiliations for a time of fellowship and sharing; and Power In The Workplace seminars and Spirit-led conferences throughout the Space Coast.

Professionally, Carol is an Organization Development and Grant Consultant who specializes in program design including strategic and tactical implementation plans. She develops training programs focused on business and workplace ethics, leadership optimization, organization excellence, and government compliance issues. With over 30 years’ grant and proposal writing experience, her specific government experience includes awards from the Department of Defense, Department of Labor, Department of Health & Human Services, Department of Commerce, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency as well as state and local initiatives.

Carol is an ordained Crisis Chaplain, a Certified NIMS Trainer, and SCORE National Business Mentor (Emeritus). She is a member of the International Fellowship of Chaplains, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.
